Please Let Me Hear From You

This blog is for sharing a love of paper crafting. I love paper crafting -
and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
and became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator early in 2025.
I'd love to be YOUR demonstrator as you buy your Stampin' Up! products.
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made
using Stampin' Up! links from this website, but this in no way affects your price.
It just serves to help support this blog. Thank you in advance for that support!

Enjoy browsing my blog, and I'd love to hear from you.
It is what helps make the time I put into this blog feel worthwhile, and always brightens my day.

A2-sized Z-fold cards - March Class 1

Today's class was about making true Z-fold cards in an A2 size - NOT fold-back cards, but cards where all three panels are the same width.  To make the card bases, I needed cardstock that was larger than 12".  You can see what I did - including how to cut something that's a bit longer than 12 x 12 - in this video

These projects were made using the Florals in Bloom designer series paper (DSP), as well as a couple of retired papers from packs we’ve used previously (Floral Impressions, Otterly Adorable)

You can see closeups of the cards we made below.

Card #1:

Here we used the Sweet Blooms stamps and Sweet Blooms dies and flowers cut from the paper to decorate this card.  Again, you can check out the video for all the details.  And this is what it looks like when opened:

Card #2:

I LOVE the look of angled Z-fold cards!  And I like using papers that showcase them to full advantage.  As I looked through my stash for papers that have an image spanning the entire width of the paper, I came across this and thought it would be perfect.  I love the rainbow of flowers, and a regular card could not showcase that.  See how pretty it is when opened?

The stamped sentiments were stamped and then punched with a 1 3/4" circle die (mine was scalloped) and then matted on a punched 2" circle (mine again was scalloped).  Of course, covering the inside with paper like that doesn't leave much room for a message, so I'll use the back of the card for that:

Card #3:

I wanted to show that you can use a wide variety of papers to create this sort of card, so went looking again and found this fun paper from the Otterly Adorable paper pack.

Isn't that a fun scene with all the otters?  Again, I'll put the message on the back:

I hope you enjoyed these projects today.  I am an independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrator, and I would love to have you choose me (Cheryl Manley) as YOUR demonstrator when purchasing from Stampin' Up! I will receive a small commission on such a purchase, but it will not affect the price you pay.  As a thank you for your purchase, your first purchase each month will qualify you to receive a pdf of that month’s class – e-mailed to the e-mail address you list when ordering from Stampin’ Up! (unless you’ve marked that you don’t want to be contacted).  Thank you!
