Please Let Me Hear From You

This blog is for sharing a love of paper crafting. I love paper crafting -
and Stampin' Up! products in particular -
and became an independent Stampin' Up!®™ demonstrator early in 2025.
I'd love to be YOUR demonstrator as you buy your Stampin' Up! products.
Full disclosure: I get a small commission on purchases made
using Stampin' Up! links from this website, but this in no way affects your price.
It just serves to help support this blog. Thank you in advance for that support!

Enjoy browsing my blog, and I'd love to hear from you.
It is what helps make the time I put into this blog feel worthwhile, and always brightens my day.

Aspects of Composition - February Class 1

Mea culpa!  I THOUGHT I had posted this month's class cards a long time ago, but I guess with the steep learning curve about creating You-Tube videos, it skipped my mind.  BUT, the good news is that if you want to see how to create these cards, I have a video!  Here's a link to my YouTube channel.  I'd love to have you subscribe.

This month's classes were about aspects of composition in card making.  This first class was specifically about: focal, rule of thirds, and visual triangles.  You can watch it here:

Here's a look at the cards we made - each one demonstrating one or more of those concepts.  All cards used papers from the Floral Impressions DSP (designer series paper).

Card #1:

First up is this sunflower card.  The focal was created using the beautiful two-step stamps from the Impressions Abloom stamp set - which is currently on a very good sale - 60% off!  After stamping the sunflower, I cut it out with a die from Textured Notes die set - then cut a mat using a different die from the same set.  This die set is SO versatile!  As you can see, it creates rectangles with lovely detailed edges. The ribbon border was created with a white ribbon that was colored with a Stampin' Blends marker.

Card #2:
This card was created using an embossing folder that I NEVER expected to find as versatile as I have.  It is one that came in the gorgeous Kintsugi Inspirations Suite Collection and is called Joined Together 3D

Card #3:

This third card uses stamped flowers - again from the Impressions Abloom stamp set - along with dies from the Impressions Abloom die set which is no longer available.  The sentiment and mat were again cut with Textured Notes dies.

These cards do not begin to showcase all that can be done with these papers, stamps & dies.  I love the way two-step stamps create color, texture, and detail without pulling out your markers or other coloring tools!

As always, I'd love to be your Stampin' Up! demonstrator.  If you make a Stampin' Up! purchase with me as your demonstrator, you not only will get great product and help support my blog (with no increased cost to you), but you will be eligible to get a free pdf of class for the month of your purchase - sent to the e-mail address you used when purchasing (unless you mark "no contact").  Happy crafting!
